The hall of records was destroyed in the Great Server Crash of 2009. Even before then, it had grown derelict and thick with dust. Only a lone sentry remained to fend off wandering spambots. Though the structure could now be rebuilt, its records were all burned to ashes in the fire. Should the people clamor for a new Hall, and the scribes prepared to write its volumes anew, it could be built. But the daily business appears to go along unaffected, and no campaigns or slogans for it are seen in the streets.

Great server crash of 2009?!?
Yet somehow I managed to re-register on this forum and forget about it till now.
All the backups of my characters were destroyed in the hard drive crash of 2008. Looks like I start from scratch.

Ah the Wiki... I spent the better part of a week working on articles for that thing... guess that's what happens when everyone is too lazy to make backups.
